Participation at the 9th Seminar for Young Researchers on Labor Law and Social Law at Szeged (Hungary)

From 20-22nd May 2016, the “9th Seminar for Young Researchers on Labor Law and Social Law” was held at the Faculty of Law of University of Szeged. The seminar was organized by the Network of European Researchers of European Labor and Social Law, and the official language of the seminar was English.

The network of young researchers of European labor and social law aims to promote scientific discussion and cooperation between post-graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in the field of labor and social rights (social security) on the European soil. The work of the network, like previous years, has been supported by Professor Tin Jaspers, Utrecht University, Volfhard Kote from Marty Luter University from Halle-Wittenberg, Jozef Hajdu from the University of Szeged and Lukas Pisarczki from the University of Warsaw. The aim of this year’s seminar is to promote the promotion of international cooperation between representatives of law schools from different countries. The 9th Seminar included the following thematic units:

  • International Labor Law and Social Law (Social Security Law);
  • European Employment and European Employment and Social Law (Social Security Law);
  • Comparative labor and social law (social security law).

Participants of this seminar were young researchers from the following countries: Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Russia, Israel, Hungary, Italy, France, Spain, Poland, Serbia and Montenegro.

Participants at the seminar were also taken by the members of the “Monitor” association, doc. Dr Dragana Randjelovic and MSc Ankica Ivanovic. They presented their joint work on the topic “Sending workers to work abroad according to the current legislation of the Republic of Serbia – Challenges and Perspectives” (Referral employees to temporary work abroad in accordance with the law of the Republic of Serbia.
