Presentation of peer educators for students of Technical-agricultural School in Sjenica

At the Student Corner of the Technical-agricultural School in Sjenica on December 28, 2018, peer educator Sanela Zenovic, a student at the State University in Novi Pazar, realized a presentation for students of this school, as part of the project “Capacity building the of youth in the field of combating hate speech in electronic media and social networks in southwestern Serbia”, which association of citizens “Monitor” from Novi Pazar in realize at the area of ​​Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Tutin, Nova Varos, Prijepolje and Priboj, with the financial support of the United States Embassy in Serbia.
The presentation is aimed at raising the level of youth’s security culture on the Internet when it comes to hate speech that is launched and spread over the Internet through electronic media and social networks. Also, the presentation was intended to inform pupils about the meaning, causes and forms of appearance and the consequences of hate speech. Particular attention was paid to the manner in which hate speech appears on the Internet.
