In the period from April 12-28, 2021, a free online seminar for the preparation of the bar exam was realized, in which 35 selected candidates from public and private institutions from Novi Pazar, Raska, Sjenica, Tutin and Prijepolje participated. Due to the current situation with the COVID-19 virus, the seminar was organized according to the online model and with the use of digital technologies and innovative learning methods, and consisted of organizing online lectures in 5 areas during April 2021 and the use of accompanying video tutorials for areas not covered with online lectures, developed by the OSCE Mission to Serbia with its partners. 4 lecturers held 20 hours of lectures in 5 different areas of law (labor law, business law, administrative law, private international law and criminal substantive law) offering a broad approach in the processing of teaching units to better prepare students for the exam, combining theory and practice.
During the seminar, each participant was provided with a complete set of bar exam preparation manuals by “Projuris” publisher, to support their preparation efforts.
The seminar was implemented by the OSCE Mission to Serbia in cooperation with the CSO Monitor from Novi Pazar, with the financial support of the Government of Switzerland.
Second round of Bar Exam Preparatory Seminar for young legal professionals from South Western Serbia will be launched at spring of 2020.
