The National Dialogue on Resistance to Organized Crime in Serbia was held on November 4 and 5, 2021, at the “Zira” Hotel in Belgrade, organized by the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOK).
The aim of the meeting was to bring together key civil society representatives from across the country to promote cooperation and collective action and provide opportunities to exchange good practices and experiences, discuss various challenges and strengthen mutual support, assistance and networking. Also, the purpose of the National Dialogue on Resistance to Organized Crime is to create space for discussion on current issues and trends related to organized crime and corruption. Work on the national dialogue took place through four thematic sessions:
1) Welcome to the introduction to the 2021 resilience dialogue;
2) Organized crime and corruption in the Western Balkans;
3) Connecting civil society and government;
4) Future cooperation between GI-TOC and civil society in Serbia.
Participation at National Dialogue on Resistance to Organized Crime in Serbia in behalf of CSO MONITOR from Novi Pazar, took doc. dr Ergin Hakić, member of our association of citizens.
