As part of the initiative to enhance digital connectivity and citizen participation in decision-making processes, the eleventh meeting with youth from local communities in Novi Pazar was held, during which the “My Novi Pazar” app was presented. The aim of the meeting was to introduce young people to the platform’s features and to gather their suggestions for improvement.

“My Novi Pazar” is a digital platform that enables citizens, especially young people, to actively participate in decision-making at the local level. Through the app, users can share their ideas, follow ongoing projects and initiatives, and communicate with local authorities. The meeting included discussions about the opportunities the platform offers and its potential to serve as a tool for better communication between citizens and local institutions.

Participants had the chance to share their ideas for enhancing the app, including improving user experience, adding new features, and increasing interactivity. Young attendees were particularly interested in how the platform could be used to organize events, track local initiatives, and provide constructive suggestions for improving community life.

The use of digital platforms like “My Novi Pazar” plays a key role in modernizing local governance and involving citizens in decision-making processes that affect their daily lives. These platforms enable direct and rapid communication between citizens and authorities, contributing to greater transparency and accountability in the work of local institutions. Additionally, they offer citizens—especially youth—the opportunity to actively participate in policymaking, which strengthens democratic processes at the local level and helps direct resources more effectively toward community needs.
