The president of the CSO MONITOR took part as a lecturer at the interactive panel organized by the Novi Pazar Gymnasium on the topic of “Digital Violence”.

First of all, a film by the students of this school was shown on the forum, and an appropriate performance was organized, which addresses the problem of digital violence among youth. This was followed by lectures given by Assoc. Dr. Milena Belić, psychologist, prof. Dr. Aleksandar Ivanović, associate professor of criminal law, MSc Haris Imamović, political scientist. In addition to the students of the Novi Pazar Gymnasium, students from other schools also took part in the forum, as well as numerous representatives of the community interested in solving this problem.

In his presentation, Professor Ivanović introduced the students to the phenomenon of digital eternity, the issue of anonymity and security on the Internet, as well as violent behavior in the online environment that is subject to misdemeanor and criminal sanctions in the Republic of Serbia.
