Participation at Twelfth Biennial International Conference “Criminal Justice and Security in Central and Eastern Europe” at Ljubljana

Twelfth Biennial Conference of Faculty for Criminal Justice and Security, University of Maribor, entitled: “Criminal Justice and Security in Central and Eastern Europe” under working title “From Common Sense to Evidence-based Policy-making” was held from 25-27 September 2018 at Ljubljana. This year conference addresses contemporary challenges in the field of criminal justice and security by encouraging the exchange of the latest views, concepts, and research findings from criminal justice and security studies among scientist, researchers, and practitioners from all over the globe. The aim of the conference is to highlight new ideas, theories, methods, and findings in a wide range of research and applied areas relating to policing, criminology, security issues, and social control issues. Conference strives for joint collaboration of different stakeholders in developing knowledge and experience that contribute to more secure and safe societies.

President of CSO MONITOR, Doc. dr Aleksandar R. Ivanović, second day of conference at panel 6 entitled Legal perspectives, presented research paper on the topic “Relationship between continuity of evidence and beyond a reasonable doubt – With special focus on the criminal procedure legislation of Republic of Serbia”, which is done in co-authorship with Branko Munižaba and Radomir Munižaba from “Munižaba” attorney office from Novi Sad.
