Participation on TechCamp Cyprus 2018 at University of Nikosia

At University of Nikosia from 7-9 December was held TechCamp Cyprus: Digital Citizenship in the Disinformation Age. TechCamps are a public diplomacy program hosted in the Bureau of International Information Programs (IIP) at the U.S. Department of State.

TechCamp Cyprus 2018 was organized by United States Department of State in cooperation with United States Embassy at Cyprus, American Center at University of Nikosia and University of Nikosia.

The participants at TechCamp Cyprus were from: Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Latvia, Moldova, Serbia and Turkey. The aim of TechCamp Cyprus 2018 is to connect young Cypriot and European civil society leaders, social entrepreneurs and aspiring journalists with the skills they need to strengthen their communities. Participants of the TechCamp were work hand in hand with technologists to develop long-term projects and programs to improve understanding of today’s digital media landscape and prepare young people to be safe, responsible and discerning technology users.

In front of the Association of citizens Monitor from Novi Pazar,  at this camp participated Phd Aleksandar Ivanovic, President of the Association.
