The project aimed to create a series of four video tutorials in the field of legal writing skills and four video tutorials aimed at raising awareness of civil rights, all in order to support young lawyers in improving legal skills and raising citizens’ awareness of legal means to protect their rights, provided by law.

The project was implemented by the CSO MONITOR from Novi Pazar, and with the financial support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, in the period from October 13, 2020 to December 29, 2020. The main beneficiaries of this project are law students and young lawyers in Serbia, as well as ordinary citizens, especially members of the Albanian national minority in Serbia.

As a result of the project, publicly available video content for capacity building of young lawyers in the field of legal writing skills was created on the Internet for law students and young lawyers, while at the same time publicly available video content was created for ordinary citizens to raise citizens’ awareness of their rights, and the legal remedies available to them to protect them, with a special focus on the work of independent institutions. The project is particularly focused on members of the Albanian national minority in Serbia, as all eight video tutorials are subtitled in Albanian.

As part of the project, in conversation with legal experts and representatives of independent institutions with the use of graphic effects, examples of good and bad practice, the following video tutorials were made:
