Project launched: Fighting discrimination and promoting intercultural dialogue and trust building

CSO MONITOR from Novi Pazar in cooperation with the city of Novi Pazar, and with a financial donation from a joint project of the European Union and the Council of Europe, in the period from April to September 2021 implements a project called “Fighting discrimination and promoting intercultural dialogue and trust building”.

The project is implemented in order to increase knowledge and awareness of young people about the importance of anti-discrimination and hate speech policies and the development of counter-narratives, as part of the goal of promoting and encouraging anti-discrimination and promoting intercultural dialogue, mutual respect, trust and mutual understanding and cooperation among all living in the local community of Novi Pazar.

Project activities include the production of 10 video tutorials that deal with these topics, and are intended for young people in this city. On the occasion of the beginning of the project, on June 2, 2021, a working meeting was held between the representatives of CSO MONITOR and the representatives of the local self-government of the City of Novi Pazar, at which was adopted the plan for the realization of project activities.
