As part of the series “Fighting Discrimination and Promoting Intercultural Dialogue and Trust Building”, the fifth episode of the video tutorial entitled “Protection from Discrimination and Hate Speech before Independent Institutions and Organizations” was published. The series of video tutorials “Fight against discrimination and promotion of intercultural dialogue and building trust” was filmed by the citizens’ association MONITOR from Novi Pazar in partnership with the City of Novi Pazar, and with the financial support of the European Union and the Council of Europe, through joint program “Promotion of diversity and equality in Serbia”.
This episode of the series deals with protection against discrimination and hate speech before independent organizations and institutions in the Republic of Serbia. The guest of this episode was the master lawyer Almir Pružljanin, a junior advisor in the professional service of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality – Regional Office in Novi Pazar. This episode aims to acquaint viewers with independent organizations and institutions that citizens of the Republic of Serbia can turn to in order to protect against discrimination and hate speech, how they can do it, and what kind of legal protection they can expect.
