Prof. dr Aleksandar Ivanović, president of the steering committee of CSO MONITOR had the honor and pleasure of working with the participants of the ninth edition of the International Summer Academy of Kosovo in Pristina in 2022.

In Pristina from 12.-22. July 2022, organized by the Kosovo Center for Diplomacy, the ninth Kosovo International Summer Academy was held, with a special focus on “Peacebuilding in post-conflict areas – diplomacy, leadership and negotiations”.

On July 19, 2022, Professor Ivanović held a lecture on “Multiculturalism and inter-ethnic conflicts in the area of the former Yugoslavia: past, present and future”.

The lecture consisted of familiarizing the participants with the roots of inter-ethnic conflicts in the Western Balkans, the historical development of the conflict, its main characteristics, the current situation regarding existing inter-ethnic conflicts and possible directions for their resolution in the future.
