Association of citizens MONITOR within the project “Girls and women security friendly public areas”, which is implemented in cooperation with the Association of citizens REAKT from Novi Pazar, and with the support of UN Women as part of the program “Safety of women and girls in public spaces” supported by the Embassy of the United of the Kingdom, in the period from December 2022 to December 2022, announces a public call for position of one service provider for the creation and implementation of a media campaign within the project.
Necessary qualifications:
- Place of residence in the territory of the city of Novi Pazar;
- Completed basic academic studies, i.e. first degree studies (VII-1 degree of vocational education);
- Minimum of 3 years of work in the civil sector;
- Experience in the implementation of at least 3 media campaigns for projects of civil society organizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in the field of human security and knowledge of the socio-political and media scene in Novi Pazar;
- Knowledge of working in digital platforms for creating visuals (such as Canva, etc.).
Description of tasks and jobs:
- creation of the design of the project logo, which will be used for all visuals in order to promote the project activities, and realization of the digital preparation of promotional materials for the press;
- creation of a communication plan with precisely defined communication channels and the public to which it applies;
- organizes at least 5 public appearances of project team members in local media;
- in cooperation with the project coordinator, creating scenarios and participating in the recording of 5 video materials lasting at least 15 minutes, which deal with identified and mapped security risks and threats to girls and women in certain public areas in Novi Pazar. (Communication materials must be created in accordance with the British Embassy’s communication and visibility guidelines and UN Women’s visibility guidelines);
- organizing one promotional event in each of at least 5 selected public areas, where promotional materials (leaflets) will be distributed with the aim of informing citizens about identified and mapped security risks, threats and needs of girls and women in terms of the sense of safety of feelings on public areas in Novi Pazar.
Working conditions, period and type of engagement:
The engagement envisages the performance of tasks as part of part-time work: 20 hours during the working week. The engagement is planned for a period of 30 days, i.e. 8 weeks, which will be implemented in the period from February 1, 2023 to August 31, 2023, according to the dynamics of implementation determined by the Project Coordinator. The selected service provider will be engaged by the Copyright Agreement. The engaged service provider will be paid a fee in the gross amount of 60,000 dinars.

Inquiries can be sent until January 19, 2023 at 8:00 p.m. Answers to all questions received by the deadline for inquiries will be submitted no later than January 21, 2023 by 4:00 p.m.
The results of the selection are expected by January 31, 2023, when a cooperation agreement will be signed with the selected expert. The planned start of work engagement is February 1st, 2023.
