In order to present and promote the “My Novi Pazar” application as efficiently as possible, a second round of consultations was held with young people from various local communities, with the aim of enabling interaction between the focus group and the app development team.

Through these consultations, young participants had the opportunity to directly influence the shaping of the final version of the app, thereby becoming active contributors in the creation process. This participatory approach allowed users to offer their suggestions, comments, and ideas, ensuring that the app aligns fully with the needs and expectations of its target audience.

Thematically, this round of consultations focused on the importance of strategic documents in community-level decision-making processes. Strategic documents—such as development plans, urban strategies, and youth-focused policy papers—play a key role in shaping policies and decisions that impact the quality of life within local communities. These documents provide a framework for decision-making, ensure transparency in the process, and form a foundation for citizen engagement in shaping policies that affect them directly.

Through consultations with youth, the idea of civic engagement and responsibility in decision-making processes was promoted. By interacting directly with the app’s development team, young participants had the chance to familiarize themselves with all the features the app offers, as well as with future possibilities for its improvement and expansion. In addition, the strategic documents presented during the consultations clearly demonstrated how citizens, when provided with the right information, can contribute meaningfully to the development of their local communities.

In conclusion, the consultations with youth on the “My Novi Pazar” app showed that enabling direct participation in the creation and development of digital tools is essential. Furthermore, the role of strategic documents was emphasized as a kind of roadmap for making informed and effective decisions at the local level—ensuring that citizens’ voices, especially those of young people, are heard and considered in shaping the future of their communities.
