The final session in a series of 26 meetings with young representatives from local communities has concluded. During these meetings, participants discussed the specific features of the My Novi Pazar application, its capabilities, the importance of its implementation in local communities, and the potential for platform enhancement. This application provides citizens with a simple and fast way to access information about services, activities, and events taking place in their local area. Through this innovative digital platform, it enables direct communication between citizens and local authorities, thereby improving transparency and administrative efficiency.

Local community representatives offered numerous valuable suggestions throughout the sessions. One of the key proposals was to improve the user interface of the application to make it more accessible to all users, including elderly residents and those less familiar with digital technology. Additionally, it was proposed that the app’s content be expanded to include information such as volunteer opportunities, promotion of local entrepreneurs, and announcements for community events. Participants also emphasized the importance of including interactive features, such as polls and a discussion forum, which would allow citizens to directly influence decision-making in their communities.

The implementation of digital tools like My Novi Pazar brings significant benefits to communities by facilitating easier information exchange, quicker responses to citizens’ needs, and broader access to relevant data. By using these technologies, citizens are better informed about the services available to them and are encouraged to take a more active role in social processes. At the same time, such tools enable local authorities to monitor the needs and suggestions of their residents, contributing to the creation of more functional and better-connected communities.
