Association of citizens MONITOR within the project “Girls and women security friendly public areas”, which is implemented in cooperation with the Association of citizens REAKT from Novi Pazar, and with the support of UN Women as part of the program “Safety of women and girls in public spaces” supported by the Embassy of the United of the Kingdom, in the period from December 2022 to December 2022, announces a public call for the position of an expert for the development of project methodology for the needs of research within the project. The expert for developing the research methodology for the needs of the project will be responsible directly to the Project Coordinator.
Necessary qualifications:
- Completed doctoral academic studies, i.e. third-level studies (8th level vocational education) in the field of law, criminalistics sciences, security or related disciplines;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in scientific and research work in the field of security;
- Experience in the implementation of at least 5 projects in the field of security;
- Experience in conducting research, analysis and preparation of qualitative and comparative reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in expert positions in project teams;
- Membership in professional-professional associations or working bodies whose domain of work is related to safety issues.
Description of tasks and jobs:
- develop a methodology for conducting research on the perception of girls and women about security risks and threats on selected public areas in Novi Pazar in cooperation with the Project Coordinator;
- analyze the data entered into the online platform for processing research data and use scientific methods to draw conclusions about the existence and mapping of security risks and threats to the safety of girls and women in selected public areas in Novi Pazar.;
- based on the results of the analysis, the conclusions drawn and examples of good practice from other local communities in the country and abroad, in cooperation with the project coordinator, develop recommendations regarding measures and actions that the local self-government and competent institutions at the local level should undertake, in order to prevent or suppression of the negative effects of identified security risks and threats.
Working conditions, period and type of engagement:
The engagement envisages the performance of tasks as part of part-time work: 20 hours during the working week. The engagement is planned for a period of 2 months, i.e. 8 weeks, which will be implemented in the period from December 12, 2022 to June 30, 2023, according to the dynamics of implementation determined by the Project Coordinator. The selected expert will be engaged by the Copyright Agreement. The hired expert will be paid a fee in the gross amount of 150,000 dinars.

Inquiries can be sent until December 3, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. Answers to all questions received by the deadline for inquiries will be submitted no later than December 4, 2012 by 4:00 p.m.
The results of the selection are expected by December 12, 2022, when a cooperation agreement will be signed with the selected expert. The planned start of work engagement is December 12, 2022.
