The members of the Safety Council of the City of Novi Pazar were introduced at the session held on September 5, 2022. year with the goals of the project “Participation of citizens in the development of an action plan for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan of the City of Novi Pazar – Security Module, for the period 2021-2030”, as well as with the project activities that await us in the coming period.

We note that this project, which the CSO MONITOR is implementing in partnership with the city of Novi Pazar, with the support of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, aims to improve the state of human security in Novi Pazar in the period 2021-2030.

The specific goals of the project are reflected in:

– scientific and professional contribution to the development of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan of the City of Novi Pazar – Safety Module for the period 2021-2030;

– establishing a dialogue between citizens, the academic community, civil society, the media, security institutions in the development of the Action Plan, in accordance with the security needs of the local community, through partnership and the use of available mechanisms such as, for example, public consultations;

– advocacy for the adoption of the Draft Action Plan for the implementation of the Sustainable Development Plan of the City of Novi Pazar – Safety Module 2021-2030.
