As part of the fifth consultation with young people from local communities, organized to introduce them to the My Novi Pazar application, discussions focused on the opportunities this platform offers for active citizen participation in public policy-making processes. Through an interactive session, participants had the chance to explore the app’s features in more detail, particularly those that provide easier access to information and facilitate involvement in public debates.

One of the key topics was the importance of public discussions related to draft public policy documents, and how the app can contribute to greater citizen engagement in this process. Specifically, the My Novi Pazar app allows users to stay informed about ongoing public debates, submit suggestions, ask questions, and participate in shaping decisions that directly influence policy development and their daily lives.

The goal of the consultation was not only to present a technological tool that can help young people become more active citizens, but also to encourage dialogue about the importance of participating in processes that shape public policies and the future of the city. Through this initiative, the City of Novi Pazar aims to promote greater transparency, inclusiveness, and accountability in the decision-making process, and to create conditions for stronger participation of all citizens, especially youth.
