With the aim of enhancing digital connectivity and engaging citizens—especially youth—in local processes, the fifteenth round of consultations on the “Moj Novi Pazar” application was held in Novi Pazar. This event focused on presenting new features offered by the app, as well as fostering interaction with young people in shaping the final version of the platform to better address their needs and challenges.

The consultations gathered young people from various local communities in Novi Pazar, who had the opportunity to explore the app’s functionalities and actively contribute to its development. A particular focus was placed on the feature for reporting communal issues, which is one of the app’s key components. Through the app, citizens—especially youth—can directly report problems such as damaged sidewalks, broken streetlights, poorly maintained public spaces, and other local infrastructure issues, allowing for quicker response and resolution by the responsible municipal services.

During the consultations, participants had the chance to share suggestions and proposals for improving the app, especially regarding the user experience when reporting communal problems. They emphasized the importance of a fast and simple reporting process, as well as the ability to track the status of submitted issues in real time. Through active collaboration, young people were empowered to directly influence the app’s development, which was the main goal of these consultations—to create a tool that truly meets the needs of the local community.

The consultations also served as an opportunity to strengthen communication between youth and local authorities. Through this collaboration, the “Moj Novi Pazar” app becomes a bridge between citizens and the government, enabling more efficient information exchange and effective resolution of communal problems.
